theThis is a classic and romantically beautiful sapphire and diamond engagement ring. The deep, rich, blue oval faceted sapphire is set in four prongs. The platinum mounting set with round faceted diamonds pavé set, taper down the band. This paired with a pavé diamond band is a perfect wedding set.

Sapphires are part of the corundum family. They are the 2nd hardest stone next to diamonds withstanding daily wear and tear. Sapphires and Rubies (same stone, different color) come in every color of the rainbow and are a great alternative to a diamond for an engagement ring.

I recently attended a lecture about corundum through my GIA Alumni group in San Francisco to hear gem dealer Sheahan Stephen speak about Sri Lankan gem mining. This gem quality, deep blue color sapphire is getting rarer and more valuable due to new treatments that are on occurring in sapphires today.

Available at our Downtown Mystic Showroom Thursday–Sunday. We’ll email you to schedule your pickup appointment once your order is ready.

Once your item is ready, you’ll receive an email with shipping details.
Orders over $1,000 ship via FedEx with adult signature required. Orders over $5,000 must be picked up with valid ID per insurance requirements. We do not ship to PO boxes for orders over $1,000.
All items are fully insured; however, transit times are not guaranteed.
International Orders
Shipped via FedEx or DHL. Buyer is responsible for any applicable taxes and tariffs.
The majority of our rings are one-of-a-kind. If you would like to order a ring in a specific size, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Helping you find the perfect fit is our priority. There is a flat fee of $60 to size down. The sizing-up cost varies based on width of the ring and the amount of material required.
Keep in mind that finger sizes fluctuate due to factors like temperature and time of day. Rings with an open space under the mounting, as well as contour bands, may fit differently than fully round rings.
Ring sizings take 3 weeks before they ship.
Our Petra Star signature pieces are made-to-order using recycled alloys. Custom items are available in the following materials:

Our one-of-a-kind items are only available "as is.” We are happy to discuss the options for remaking a similar piece in a different metal to your specifications.
