Georgian Gold & Silver Giardinetti Ring with Floral and Leaf Motifs


This rare Georgian giardinetti (little garden) ring, crafted in gold and silver with asymmetrical floral and leaf motifs, dates back to the 1700s. The piece embodies the era‘s love for light and elegant jewelry, characterized by openwork settings and delicate stones arranged in floral and foliate designs. The flowers in this ring are closed-back set with a captivating mix of gems, including thirteen rose-cut diamonds in silver, along with two rubies, two sapphires and and two emeralds set in gold. The tapering gold shank is ribbed and bifurcated, adorned with intricate floral detailing at the shoulders, making this a truly unique piece.
