If you’re not fully satisfied with your purchase, we’re here to make it right. Our return policy is designed to be clear, fair, and hassle-free, so you can shop with confidence. Below you’ll find everything you need to know about how and when to make a return.
Shipping & Delivery
Our Vintage Vault Collection are ready to ship, many of our artisan pieces are made to order and can take up to 6 weeks before shipping. If you have a special date in mind, please contact us before you purchase to guarantee arrival of your item. If an item is in stock, it will ship within 24 hours of your order unless any modifications requests need to be made.
Domestic Shipping. Insured shipping within the United States is free with your purchase of $300 or more. We ship all domestic packages via USPS Ground Advantage Insured for items valued $999 or less. Items valued $1,000 or more are shipped Fedex 2nd Day Air and must be shipped to the billing address with an adult present to sign for the package.
Our insurer requires Items valued higher than $5,000 to be shipped to the closest Fedex shipping station and the buyer will need to pick it up with ID matching the name on the package. Shipping upgrades are available for an additional charge. Contact us for more info.
If you do not receive your order, a claim may be opened after 7 business days to track missing mail. You may request an alternative shipping method but will be charged the difference in the shipping price. To file a claim, USPS Priority Mail Express can begin 7 business days after ship date. USPS Priority, insured and registered mail claims can begin 15 business days after ship date. Claims are made by the shipper, and the shippee will be notified throughout the process.
Damaged Items via shipping. If an item arrives damaged, contact us immediately at hello@petrastar.com and we will provide a prepaid shipping label. Once the item is returned and received, a full refund will be issued minus the cost of return shipping.
International shipping. Prices vary based on the value of the item(s) and shipping company. On international orders, the customer is responsible for all additional duties, taxes, and/or tariffs that might incur. All international orders are shipped via UPS or Fedex. All packages shipped by Petra Star are fully insured for their purchased price. When your item is ready to ship, you will receive an email containing your tracking information. GoShippo is a third-party shipping company that secures and insures your shipment.
Returns
We offer hassle-free returns within 14 days of delivery, exchanges within 30 days, and cancellations within 1 hour of your order. Please email us at hello@petrastar.com for a pre-paid shipping label and instructions.
A refund will be issued upon receipt of returned item in its original condition, minus the shipping charges. Refunds are processed within 7 business days.
Sale items and items that have been modified are non-returnable.
Warranty
Petra Star offers a free lifetime warranty on all of our jewelry against any manufacturing defects. If you experience any problem with your purchase, you are welcome to ship it back to us for evaluation. If we deem the problem a manufacturing issue, we will repair the item at no expense to the customer.
This warranty excludes coverage due to wear and tear and/or negligence subsequent to purchase. Within the first six months of purchase, we will replace side or accent diamonds that go missing if we feel that it is a manufacturing defect. After six months of purchase, all missing side or accent diamonds will be considered wear and tear and will be replaced at the expense of the customer.
Any repairs or work not done by Petra Star void this warranty. We stress the importance in choosing jewelry that is appropriate for your lifestyle.
