Antique Chinese Carved Coral Ring in Sterling Silver

Truly fabulous, we have this Art Nouveau carved coral ring. The coral is carved into the bud of a rose and set in a classic Art Nouveau mounting depicting vines and plants.

Vibrant carved coral, shaped like the bud of a rose, takes center stage in this circa 1910 Art Nouveau ring, set in sterling silver. The vine and leaf motif in the mounting echoes natural forms in true period style. A darkened patina and slight wear add character while preserving the design’s intricate detail. A remarkable piece that blends Chinese export material with European Art  Nouveau form. Please note one small leaf from the shoulder is missing.
