Victorian Ruby Ring in 14k Gold - JL1737

This is a simple Victorian solitaire ring. It was originally set with a diamond that was chipped. We removed the diamond and set it much lower with an antique ruby from a piece we couldn‘t restore. Most modern engagement rings are assembled in pieces with a head that gets soldered to the band. What I love about this ring is that the prongs are seamlessly part of the ring.

J.R. Wood & Sons were Brooklyn Jewelers that started their business in 1850, and over 100 years later this business still manufactures wedding jewelry as Art Carved.
