This Victorian Shell Cameo ring depicts the face of an established French aristocrat woman. This is classically depicted by the fine featured, elongated, narrow face with clean lines.

The narrow face shows leadership and provenance yet interestingly it is also a symbol of honorability and an ability to work with a group and be loyal to a team of like minded heroes!

The cameo is framed by cannetille wire work in 10k white and yellow gold. The frame also has had engraved details on the edge around the cannetille work.
Related but not the same as filigree, cannetille applies gold sheet work and fine wire work to frame a piece. Most popular in the 1820s-1830s, it continued to be used all thru the 19th century and beyond.

Available at our Downtown Mystic Showroom Thursday–Sunday. We’ll email you to schedule your pickup appointment once your order is ready.

Once your item is ready, you’ll receive an email with shipping details.
Orders over $1,000 ship via FedEx with adult signature required. Orders over $5,000 must be picked up with valid ID per insurance requirements. We do not ship to PO boxes for orders over $1,000.
All items are fully insured; however, transit times are not guaranteed.
International Orders
Shipped via FedEx or DHL. Buyer is responsible for any applicable taxes and tariffs.
The majority of our rings are one-of-a-kind. If you would like to order a ring in a specific size, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Helping you find the perfect fit is our priority. There is a flat fee of $60 to size down. The sizing-up cost varies based on width of the ring and the amount of material required.
Keep in mind that finger sizes fluctuate due to factors like temperature and time of day. Rings with an open space under the mounting, as well as contour bands, may fit differently than fully round rings.
Ring sizings take 3 weeks before they ship.
Our Petra Star signature pieces are made-to-order using recycled alloys. Custom items are available in the following materials:

Our one-of-a-kind items are only available "as is.” We are happy to discuss the options for remaking a similar piece in a different metal to your specifications.
