Victorian Diamond Bird Brooch - DK649

This incredible bird is over 150 years old. Set with rose cut diamonds and a beautiful vibrant red eye ruby. The brooch is silver over 18k yellow gold. You see the gold in the beak and talons.

Hallmarked on the backside of its crown, I couldn‘t decipher its origin using my trusty World Hallmarks reference books.

I identified this bird as a cockatiel but I am not an Ornithologist so please message me if I am wrong.
