Georgian Silver Ring with Kyanite

This rare Georgian silver ring showcases an original foiled, closed-back setting around a vivid blue cushion-cut stone believed to be kyanite, bezel set for a soft, antique profile. The indistinct maker’s mark, tapered shank, and glowing foil-backed construction are all hallmarks of early 19th-century craftsmanship, offering a beautifully preserved, wearable piece of jewelry history.

Kyanite was first discovered in 1789, so this was a new gem find during the time this piece was made.
