Art Deco Blue Zircon Ring

 Just in time, Blue Zircon is the birthstone for December and here is an amazing old Blue Zircon set in a 10k gold ring. The mounting is a simple four prong setting with the prongs located north to south and east to west.

We recently rebuilt the prongs to make a mold of this mounting to offer it in other metal stone options.

The unique properties of a Blue Zircon are that this outrageously beautiful stone has a vibrant blue that is almost a teal blue. It is the MOST brilliant out of all the blue gemstones and it is double refractive which gives us an easy way to identify this stone. It is also fairly hard, rated at a 7.5 on the Moh's Hardness scale so it is a great stone to wear daily.
