It sits in a chubby bezel, wide and high-polished, that reads more sculptural than delicate, built to hold its own on the hand rather than recede into a supporting role.

Flanking the center are two heirloom, round faceted diamonds supplied by the client: heirloom stones carried forward from an existing piece and reset here as the side accents. They are not a matched pair in the traditional sense — and that asymmetry is the point. These are not diamonds selected from inventory to complement a center stone; they are diamonds with their own history, reset rather than replaced, carrying the ring's continuity from an earlier piece of jewelry into a new one. Each is bezel-set to match the chubby, high-polish language of the center stone, unifying three stones of different origin and cutting era into a single cohesive silhouette.

The mounting is 14k yellow gold finished throughout in high polish. This piece was designed and fabricated as a custom commission — the center diamond sourced and set by Petra Star team, the side stones supplied by the client from a piece already meaningful to them.
