Antique Victorian 14K Yellow Gold Wide Chased Band Ring — Personal Inscription "To Abby, Love Joe," Circa 1900

This substantial band, crafted in 14K yellow gold at the turn of the twentieth century, is worked entirely in a hand-chased diamond lattice — rows of raised X's and pin-pricked florets that catch the light differently with every turn of the hand. The profile is faceted rather than rounded, giving the band an octagonal, almost architectural silhouette that was a hallmark of fine goldsmithing at the close of the Victorian era.
