A beautiful piece of history, this vintage charm is crafted from rich 14k yellow gold and designed to look like a classic, miniature envelope. Dating back to 1940 or earlier, this nostalgic "love letter" charm features a mechanical sliding mechanism that pulls open from the side, allowing a hidden message or token to be tucked inside.

The front of the envelope is beautifully hand-engraved in an elegant, flowing script addressed to "Edith." In the top-right corner, a small recessed square marks where the original white enamel "stamp" used to sit, which has gracefully worn off over decades of wear, adding to its authentic antique character.
