Victorian Turquoise Ring

This unique Victorian ring features an antique Persian turquoise set within a large, textured disc that has the appearance of being sandblasted. The ring appears to be a well-executed marriage of two pieces, with the disc testing as 14k gold and the band testing as 10k gold. Examination of the underside suggests the disc was repurposed into its current ring form. The band's rosier hue and quicker tarnishing indicate a potentially different alloy composition.
