Some pieces are too beautifully made to disappear. These earrings began as something else entirely — a period Art Deco platinum ring, circa 1930, with twelve straight baguette diamonds set in the geometric precision that defines the era's finest work. When the ring was modified for a client, its original diamond elements remained: too rare, too exquisitely crafted to set aside.
At Petra Star, nothing with this kind of provenance gets lost.
We reimagined the platinum diamond components into earrings, sourcing a matched pair of round faceted aquamarines — 2.12 carats combined — whose cool, clear blue reads as unmistakably Art Deco in spirit. The baguette diamonds, twelve in total at an estimated 0.60 carats, are set in their original platinum in a quietly spectacular way: their geometry creates a natural dome effect, catching light from every angle with the kind of dimensional brilliance you simply cannot replicate in modern production work.
This is jewelry with a second life and a story worth telling — period geometry, consciously preserved, made wearable again.

Sizing
Rings
The majority of our rings are one-of-a-kind. If you would like to order a ring in a specific size, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Helping you find the perfect fit is our priority. There is a flat fee of $60 to size down. The sizing-up cost varies based on width of the ring and the amount of material required.
Keep in mind that finger sizes fluctuate due to factors such as temperature and time of day. Rings with an open space under the mounting, as well as contour bands, may fit differently than fully round rings.
Ring sizings take 3 weeks before they ship.

Our Petra Star signature pieces are made-to-order using recycled alloys. Custom items are available in the following materials:

Our one-of-a-kind items are only available "as is.” We are happy to discuss the options for remaking a similar piece in a different metal to your specifications—it's one of our specialties.
