Modernist Lapis Ring

Very cool and unusual lapis lazuli ring from the 1970's. The lapis is set in a saddle style heavy gold mounting with a bright florentine finish and a shiny crescent moon that hugs one side of the oval lapis. It feels lovely on because of the narrow thickness on the side where your fingers close. Even though it is top heavy it doesn't rotate.
