Linked by Love – Mother's Day Essay Contest
"Linked by Love": Win Your Mom a Permanent Bracelet This Mother's Day
This Mother's Day, Petra Star is inviting middle school students to do something extraordinary — earn a truly beautiful gift for the most important woman in their life.
About the Contest
The Linked by Love Mother's Day Essay Contest is open to students at Groton Middle School, Stonington Middle School, and East Lyme Middle School. Students in every grade are invited to write 250–500 words about the most important woman in their life — a mother, grandmother, aunt, teacher, or any female figure who has shaped who they are.
One winner per grade receives a complimentary experience at Petra Star: a permanent bracelet from the Linked by Love collection, custom-welded onto the wrist as an unbreakable symbol of connection — for both the student and their honored person. There is no cost to the student and no cost to the school.
"I've always believed that children should know they can earn something extraordinary through hard work and heart. This contest is my way of giving them that chance — and celebrating the women who inspire them every day." — Dimitria Koumarnetos, Owner & Designer, Petra Star
